Abe Lyman was a composer and band leader during the 1920's and 1930's, who recorded for Victor. His society sound was sometimes uplifted with sounds of jazz, as we shall hear in the soundtrack of this video, with his rendition of "Milenberg Joys" as recorded in 1932.

The Abe Lyman Orch. performing three very elaborate arrangements in an early 1930's film short. The only piece I recognize is Rube Bloom's composition Song of the Bayou. UPDATE A sharp eared viewer from Norway identified the other two songs as Farewell Blues and Milenburg Joys. Jazz classics I should have recognized. Thank you ebronken.
